Our Support Approach

Grief Support & Coaching

Our one-on-one support sessions are non-clinical and focus on compassionate listening, emotional support, and helping pet parents navigate the pain of loss. These sessions are led by trained grief support specialists and are appropriate for pet parents seeking understanding, comfort, and guidance before or after the loss of a beloved pet.

Professional Counseling Support

In some cases, grief may feel especially intense or complicated. For pet parents who may benefit from professional mental health support, counseling services are available with a licensed mental health counselor.

Counseling services are not covered by medical insurance.

Rate: $100 per counseling session.

Grief Support Coaching is not a substitute for mental health counseling and does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.

When additional support is needed such as when grief begins to feel overwhelming, persistent, or difficult to manage counseling with our licensed therapist is also available. We can also provide guidance on how to connect with a counselor through your insurance or other appropriate resources

If counseling support is not the right fit, we can help guide pet parents toward additional licensed providers through their insurance or local resources.
